These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and enquiries made with A2B Travel, a registered member of the Association of Southern African Travel Agents (ASATA), based in Somerset West, South Africa. By making a booking or enquiry with us, you agree to these terms.
A2B Travel acts as a travel designer and booking intermediary between you and third-party suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, lodges, tour operators, and insurance providers. Once a booking is confirmed, your contract for the specific travel service is with that supplier, and their own terms and conditions will also apply.
Quotes provided are subject to availability at the time of confirmation and may change due to currency fluctuations, supplier pricing changes, or seasonal adjustments until a booking is fully confirmed and paid for. Prices are quoted in South African Rand unless otherwise stated.
A non-refundable deposit is typically required to confirm a booking, with the balance due before a specified date ahead of travel. Specific deposit amounts and payment deadlines will be confirmed with you in writing for each booking, as these vary by supplier.
Cancellation and amendment policies are set by individual suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators) and vary by booking. We will communicate the specific cancellation terms applicable to your booking at the time of confirmation. A2B Travel may also charge a reasonable administration fee for amendments or cancellations processed on your behalf.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip, covering medical emergencies, cancellation, and personal belongings. A2B Travel can refer you to a trusted insurance partner, but the insurance contract is between you and the insurer directly.
It is your responsibility to ensure you hold a valid passport (with the required remaining validity and blank pages for your destination), any necessary visas, and to meet any health or vaccination requirements for your trip. We are happy to refer you to a trusted visa partner, but final responsibility for correct travel documentation rests with the traveller.
A2B Travel takes reasonable care in selecting reputable suppliers, but we are not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, or negligence of third-party suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, accommodation providers, and tour operators. We are also not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure events such as extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, or political instability.
If you have a concern about your booking or experience with us, please contact us directly so we can address it. As an ASATA member, A2B Travel adheres to the association’s code of conduct, and unresolved disputes may be referred to ASATA.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
